You have to read this post...
...from Samuel Park's Daily Pep for Writers. Whether or not you're a writer, if you're a lover of books, a human being who has ever escaped into a book when you are disillusioned with people you meet in the real world, you will appreciate it. It's an extremely well-expressed thought. Wow.

ReplyDeleteHi Faith, I found you over at Jen's blog: Unedited, so I thought I'd stop by, comment and follow. Feel free to visit my blog and do the same.
ReplyDeleteI've read that post by Samuel and you are absolutely right. He is a thoughtful, insightful person (and writer as well), and it really lifted my mood that day. I've only been following his blog for a couple of days but I look forward to reading more.
Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteHi Lily thanks for dropping by and following today. ;)
ReplyDeleteFaith, I am never disillusioned by people although they do sometime shock the h*** out of me. People are choice and facinating, they seem bent of self-harm as often as they are determined to hurt others. If my world were peopled only by those full of sweetness and light it would be so less rich in diversity.
