A recent scene from my life...
LUCY: (to jar) Now you'll never get out of there!
(in a falsetto, making the jar wiggle) Oh, yes, I will!
(normal voice) No, you won't—you're trapped!
(falsetto) Yes, I will! I will! I will!
FAITH: Did you capture your Rosetta doll, Lucy?
LUCY: No. She asked me to put her in the jar. I'm a good human. I'm just keeping her safe. She likes it in there.
FAITH: Ah-hah.
MARK: (in a quiet aside) If she ever becomes a writer of slightly dark and twisted fantasy, remind me not to be surprised.
FAITH: Yep.
