How are wine, hobbits, and sticky notes related?

Lovely interview. I adore HF for all the reasons you outlined and yours sound fascinating. It's great to know another compulsive outliner and one who is not afraid to call her work literary. Brava!

And I agree with Vijaya about your calling your work literary. I went through some soul searching when I was told writing historical fiction wasn't literary--it was genre. But of course it can be both! And you're doing it.
